The little Salvation Army Hall in Deadwood was like a life line to me. I got to sing my heart out on a Sunday. Everyone was always nice and kind and I was able to wear my nice pretty dress. My Mother had sent me that dress from England and it was the most beautiful dress ever.
After Sunday school my Grandmother and I would visit her friend. She would make the most loveliest tomato paste sandwich and cake for desert. They were a lovely family something I could only have dreamed about.
Your place is valueble for me. Thanks!…
