This morning I read a beautiful tribute to Mr. Trevor Otter Thomas:
I first met the Otter Thomas family when Mr. Freddy Thomas moved to St. Helena from South Africa. I was still living with my grandmother at Deadwood at the time. We were all fascinated by their South African Accent. I remember Peter Max and Trevor quite well.
When Bob and I first married we moved into a house at the back of Trevor and his wife Alicia. One day Trevor knocked on my door and said to me, is he giving you trouble? Meaning Bob. I had no idea what Trevor meant he went on to say just le me know and I will come sort him out for you.
After Trevor left I realized what he meant. Bob’s sister Brenda was running around the house screaming that Bob was chasing her and thought it was me being attacked. That was the sort of person Trevor was, always trying to help.
Thank you to Trevor and condolences to Trevors wife Alicia children and grandchildren and all of Trevors family in South Africa. Thinking of you all at this sad time
Love, Dorothy.
