I do support the concept of putting Britain first, but in a certain way. There has to be a way to help therefugees but possibly in a way that won’t negatively effect those in England who also need help. We can’t forget the thosands of Britains who left Britain to live in the Americas, New Zealand, Canada, South Africa, India and the West Indies. let us also reflect on the fact that England would send criminals away to Australia. The indigenous people from these countries didn’t have any rights, and couldn’t put themselves first.
Some of the people from europe who left their shores to settle in these countries may have been refugees but most wanted a better life. Many of them were also full of greed and let us not forget the gold rush and the hope of money.
I fully understand that Britain can’t help everyone. I also know and realize that some people in Britain also need help. It seems to come to round abouts. Hundreds of years ago the sun never set on the English empire, but now it has dwindled down to very little. Now members of countries from many parts of the world are asking/begging the English to have a place to live and stay. One day England might need help and never know whose help you might need one day.
I am not sure what to think any more, but I do know that I would like to live in a world without wars, refugees and innocent children being put at risk from dying and drowning. Is the world truly free? It would be nice to live in such a place, perhaps we can all dream.
