I went to the lifeboat with my work friends last evening. The live band was very good and I enjoyed myself very much. I realized that I have been missing a good night out. I can’t remember the last time I was able to go out and relax without worrying about anything. I have not been out for years.
I enjoyed myself very much and I even had a few dances. I got chatted up several times by many different gentlemen. It was wonderful to get attention especially at my age by men half my age. I must say that the fun is out there and you just need to grab it when you can.
I take my marriage vows very serious. Indeed thirty seven years of a serious marriage is without a doubt a proper marriage. Caring for someone, loving them for such a long time, giving them my loyalty, and standing by them no matter what is A PROPER MARRIAGE.
Bob and I had a lovely wedding in a beautiful little Baptist church in Jamestown, on the Island of St. Helena. I am happy to say that I am so happy that we didn’t get married in a register office as I love old churches. New churches and Registery offices are not for me. Bob said that we should return to St. Helena to renew our vows I will give it some thought, the only thing that I will miss is that our beloved father will not be there.
My night out with my work friends was a delight. The meal was wonderful and was good that we all met up. I have been working with these wonderful people for almost sixteen years. We all know each other pretty well. We do look out for each other and support for us is vital. It will be a sad day when I leave this wonderful place. I love every thing about it, the people that we care for, the staff, to me they are more then staff they are simply wonderful people in my life, I hope that we will always keep in touch with each other.
