The strong winds bought a tree crashing down in my back garden last year. The impact broke my fence beyond repair. However, the birds are still sitting on the withered branches singing the most beautiful songs. Because of this, I am reluctant to have it cut into logs. I was amazed to find the branches coved in tiny little buds, which will be beautiful white blossoms in the coming summer. The flowers turn into red berries in the autumn. I have learned a very important lesson from my fallen tree. Never give up hope. Had I cut it into logs I wouldn’t have beautiful white flowers to look forward to in the next few months.
